Fun in the mud!
The children have been very busy in the 2-3’s room with lots of indoor and outdoor activities. The weather is becoming much wetter and colder outside but the children have been wrapping up warm in the fleecy all weather suits, exploring in the forest garden and splashing in the watery mud kitchen. The children also discovered a family of newts living under the logs and have taken turns holding them. They made us giggle!
The children have shown an interest in the leaves changing colour after an Autumn nature hunt and we had fun creating some leaf pictures. They glued the leaves in pretty patterns to look like branches on the paper. We learnt lots of new work through the week.
As always the children have loved singing their favourite songs at circle time and have had so much enjoyment from playing all of the different musical instruments. They have learnt to play them fast for a round noise and slowly for a quieter noise.
