Celebrating Chinese New Year and going on a bear
We have been busy celebrating Chinese New Year. We made our own roosters; sticking feathers on! They looked very colourful. We did some Chinese food tasting whilst listening to traditional Chinese music. We have a display on the wall with our art work and photographs on for you to look at. We even had a go at Chinese writing, using the edge of a piece of card and black paint to make marks. We have been enjoying the slightly milder temperature this week, let’s hope it stays! We have enjoyed reading ‘We’re going on a bear hunt’ and today we took a small group into the forest garden. We listened to the story read by Sarah and off we went looking for him. We found the bear hiding in the mud!! One of our friends brought in a story about Farm Animals. We were lucky enough to feed the pigs with Becky and watch Farmer Iona as she went to feed Daisy and Buttercup, our goats. We were waving to the Goats (and Iona!!!) saying Bye- Bye.
