Chilly February

March 2018

It was a very chilly February in Forest School. We started the month by creating bird feeders for the Forest School birds. We had a warm fire and melted the lard and mixed in the seed, it was so cold that the lard started to go hard before we even got it in the fridge!

Lots to celebrate in the middle nursery

We have had a very fun filled week at nursery. We celebrated Pancake Day, Valentines Day and started our Chinese New Year celebrations too. Chinese New Year in the middle nursery

March 2018

We started off the week celebrating Chinese New Year with some messy play! We cooked rice and added multicultural resources for the children to explore! The children loved using the chopsticks which are great for developing hand eye coordination and fine motor skills! We also made play dough dragons and Chinese Lanterns!
