Summer in the 3-4’s has been lots of fun. We have had lots of time to enjoy some sun in the garden, building dens, relaxing in the hammock, and running around in crazy daisy the water sprinkler to cool down when the sun came out!
Over the past few weeks we have been doing lots of messy and sensory play activities which have included finger painting, tea bag painting, jelly play and pasta play. We enjoyed mark making with the paint and looking at the marks the tea bags left when we splatted them onto the paper.
We have been getting creative again this week starting the week off with paint on cling film this was a bit of a different surface to use, we pushed the paint around with our hands and fingers, you can see our master piece on the back of our door in baby room! During the week Read the full article…
Over the past week the children have been exploring lots of messy play therefore developing their creative skills, hand-eye co-ordination, fine motor skills and mark making skills as well as the overall sensory experience these activities have included spaghetti painting, ice cube painting and edible sand!
